I’ve often wanted to play old games such as Descent between friends when each of us are at home. One problem: old games often DON’T support network game connections outside a local network.
Is the any software or technique I can use to map an remote ip address to a local IE 192.168.1.x address?
For the record, I’m not looking for VPN as it presents a lot of overhead for security that I simply don’t need (what is a hacker going to do…steal info about coordinates for the players in the games I’m playing multi-player?)
